FROM FAR AWAY, written by Robert Munsch, recounts the experience of Saoussan, who immigrated with her family from war-torn Lebanon when she was only seven years old.

From @annick_press, “This picture book tells the story of how she had to adjust to her new life in Canada. (It) is the perfect book to helps kids empathize with immigrant children whose experiences are very similar to Saoussan’s.” I’m so proud to have been asked to do the artwork for the book, especially given our overwhelming need for empathy.
